It is really sad to say bye. But we did it anyway.... hugs all the way and kisses to all. It's been great, Sweden will be missed. <3

Visit to the Royal Palace

After visiting the nordiska museum,we caught a tram to visit the royal palace. The royal palace is the official residence of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. The palace consists of 600 rooms and a huge coutyard in the Center. fortunately we
reached right on time to see the whole process of changing of the guards. It was a systematic and a well coordinated process. later we had a guided tour of the jewels of different generations which were on display in the palace. We also had a guided tour of some of the rooms which included the guest room, the guards room, the dinning hall, the party hall and also the kings room. The king does not actually stay in this castle But he has his offices located Here. The palace is used for representative purposes by the King whilst performing his duties as the head of state.

valborgsmässoafton❤

valborgsmässoafton is a festival here in Sweden. We all celebrated it last night, it began with people walking along the street holding a stick with fire and singing traditional Swedish songs. They then light a bonfire and sing songs around it.
Cotton candy, popcorn, coffee and games! A night well spent.
No better way than this to Bid farewell to the winter and say hello to spring!
