The trip to The Drottningholm Palace -Yamini

29th April 2017

We packed our lunch from home and as always we met everyone at T-Central station so that we could catch a boat to The Drottningholm slott. The trip to The Drottningholm Palace via ferry was about 60 minutes duration,so we just sat back and enjoyed the landscapes and stunning views and let cold wind not bother us. The royal palace stands on an island in lake Mälar is one of the Sweden's best preserved Royal palaces and is served as private Royal Residency to the Swedish Royal family. There is a Opera House located at the Palace and is still in use,Wow! One of  the main tourist attractions are the parks and gardens surrounding the Palace. Together we ate our lunch facing the castle in a garden cafe bearing cold and windy weather which was a perfect sitting for lunch with friends.
